Has anyone heard of Sally Kern? Does anyone have any opinions?
Yes. I was unfortunate enough to live in her district in Oklahoma City for a while. I took great pleasure in voting against her in the last election, not that it did any good. I moved recently and I'm out of her area now, but I find her to be an embarrassment to Oklahoma, women and humanity in general. She spews nothing but hate and intolerance. She's a racist and a giant homophobe. Less widely known is her attitude toward people with disabilities. When addressing a room full of disabled people during her last campaign, she referred to the group as "you handicaps". I'm not making that up. I was there. I find it appalling that people like her can get elected to public office. She makes me ashamed to be an Oklahoman.
